Who I am
Anton Čorňák, written Anton Cornak without the diacritics, is an AI engineer and full-stack developer based in Košice, Slovakia. He has spent more than five years building software, and the recent part of that focused on products where a language model sits at the core rather than being added at the end. In 2025 he co-founded CaskCoded, a software studio of senior engineers in Košice, where he is co-founder and cto.
From here on this page is in the first person, because I am the one you will be talking to.
How I work
One person owns the whole product. I design the architecture, write the backend and the frontend, set up the infrastructure and keep it running after launch. There is no hand-off between a data scientist, a backend team and a frontend agency, so the LLM pipeline, the API, the interface and the deployment are designed to fit each other.
You talk to me directly. No project manager relays messages, and the estimate covers engineering, not coordination. When a simpler tool will do the job, I say so before you pay for the complicated one.
What I have built
9 projects are listed on the homepage. rozhlas.ai generates voice announcements for Slovak municipalities with text-to-speech and manages their waste-collection calendars. politikovo.ai turns political news into AI-written satirical bedtime stories with generated images and narration. hr_screening is an AI voice interview platform that screens job candidates in real time and gives recruiters structured evaluations. project_research evaluates startup ideas with several AI providers and writes market reports. car_checker generates pre-purchase vehicle inspection checklists from vehicle data.
On the web side there is bakecakefit, a nutrition platform on Sanity CMS; idcars.sk, a car rental site with booking and maps; and sidequest_journal, a social journaling app. autobild_researcher, an automated research tool for automotive journalists built on LangChain workflows, ran its course and has been retired. Across all client and studio work the count is above thirty delivered projects.
The stack
Python and TypeScript are the daily languages, Go where it fits. React and Next.js on the frontend. For AI features: LangChain, LangGraph, the OpenAI, Anthropic and Google model APIs, and ElevenLabs for speech. Infrastructure is Docker, Kubernetes and Terraform on AWS or GCP. Data lives in Supabase, MongoDB or PostgreSQL through Drizzle. I pick the tool for the problem, not the other way round.
Who I have worked with
The recommendations on the homepage come from people at News and Media Holding, Visma Automate, Visma and DTSE, who I have worked with on AI implementation and software projects. Eight people have written recommendations in total; four are quoted on the homepage.
Availability and contact
I am open for new projects. You can hire me as a freelance AI engineer for a defined build, as a fractional AI engineer embedded in your team for part of the week, or through CaskCoded when the work needs more than one person. I work remotely from Košice in Central European Time, in English or Slovak.
